Rowley Williams at Eton Manor 16-10-09

Another Successful Coach education session was held this eveining at Eton Manor RFC with Rowley Williams the kicking coach from Bath RFC making a guest appearance to lead over 50 of the County club coaches through a series of kicking skills.  With vairous age groups kickers from Eton Manor RFC and stuedents of the Sarecens Oaklands College Rowley explained the mystries of kicking from the simple punt, to the box, kick, and palce kicking plus a few added bonus tips for the students taking part in the skills sessions.  The evening was sponored by Essex County RFU and organised by their Coach Development Chairman Chris Emerson and his committee.  On a very chilly evening the post session Eton Manor currey was a welcome end to the evening as Rowley took on further questions in the club house.  The next coach education session is next Friday, the 23rd October at Thurrock RFC when Bob Crooks returns to Essex to lead a session on manging the Contact.  To book your place e-mail Chair of Coach Development Chris Emerson at MrChris@blueyonder.com
